Doctor Doom

Victor von Doom is the sovereign of Latveria, and by most measures the most capable mind on the planet — a scientist and a sorcerer at once, which is a combination the Marvel Cinematic Universe has never previously put in one body.

Marvel confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 that Robert Downey Jr. would play the role, returning to the franchise in a wholly new part rather than reprising Tony Stark. The studio simultaneously rebranded its studio logo green for the film's campaign — the first time the signature red has been set aside.
