Erik Lehnsherr survived a genocide and drew a conclusion from it that the X-Men have spent decades arguing with. He is not written as a villain so much as a man whose premise is difficult to refute and whose methods are impossible to accept.

Placing him opposite Doctor Doom in Doomsday is the most interesting casting decision in the film. Both are absolute rulers in their own estimation; both believe the world would be better run by them; neither has any reason to defer.

We list him as NEUTRAL because on the evidence of the trailers, he is on nobody's side but his own.
