Captain America

Steve Rogers led the Avengers through the Infinity Saga and closed his arc in Endgame by returning the stones and staying in the past. That ending was designed to be final, and for six years the franchise treated it that way.

Chris Evans is attached to Doomsday. Marvel has confirmed the casting but has not confirmed the character, and there is a real difference: a multiverse film can bring an actor back as a variant, an alternate, or someone else entirely. Reporting has run well ahead of the studio here.

We list him as REPORTED rather than CONFIRMED for exactly that reason. When Marvel says which Steve Rogers this is — or whether it is Steve Rogers at all — this page changes.
